QuitJourney - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how QuitJourney (“the App”) handles information. The App is designed to work offline first and does not require a user account.

Information We Collect

Local data only: Quit date, smoking habits, and progress metrics are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and are not transmitted to any server.
No analytics or tracking: The App does not use analytics SDKs or send usage data.
Advertising (if enabled): If you enable ads and tracking, the App may load third-party ads. Advertisers may collect device information as governed by their own policies. The App will request iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent before tracking.
Purchases: In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may provide QuitJourney with non-personal transaction status needed to unlock features.

How We Use Information

To operate core features (timers, calculations, notifications, widget updates) locally on your device.
To honor purchases (remove ads) using transaction status provided by Apple.
To show ads only if you enable them.

Data Sharing

The App does not share your personal data with third parties.
If ads are enabled, ad networks may receive device identifiers subject to your ATT consent and their own privacy policies.

Data Retention and Control

All app data is stored on your device. Deleting the App or using “Reset All Data” in Settings removes locally stored data.
Purchase receipts are managed by Apple; restoring purchases is handled via Apple’s systems.

Security

Local data is stored using standard iOS application storage. Do not use the App on a shared or unsecured device if you wish to keep your data private.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the App.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date and published with app updates.
